Summary The Project Executive provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for construction, project management, and project administration activities across multiple projects in Seattle, WA . This role drives project performance, client satisfaction, and profitability while supporting the implementation of corporate policies, procedures, and overall business objectives. Duties & Responsibilities Executive Leadership & Oversight Provide day-to-day leadership for construction, project management, and project administration teams Guide multiple projects and teams through pre-construction, construction, closeout, and post-construction phases Lead project mobilization and ensure proper staffing, tools, and resource allocation Recruit, train, mentor, and supervise project personnel Client & Relationship Management Strengthen client relationships through exceptional service and successful project delivery Attend and participate in meetings with clients, architects, and contractors Assist clients in negotiating and drafting contracts for legal review and approval Identify and mitigate risks that may impact client operations or project performance Business Development & Strategy Identify and pursue new business development opportunities within the industry Collaborate with Estimating and Purchasing during project setup to ensure profitability and optimal subcontractor selection Formulate and negotiate contract terms and communicate project strategy clearly to teams Financial & Operational Management Review and approve project estimates, schedules, and monthly status reports Oversee subcontract bidding and negotiations in accordance with company protocols Approve subcontracts and major material purchase orders Ensure cost control systems are established and maintained Maintain positive cash flow and ensure timely progress payments Review assigned project BFRs and management reports, including fee goal updates Policy & Compliance Ensure implementation and adherence to company policies and procedures Confirm scheduling procedures and project controls are properly executed Promote professional and fair subcontractor and vendor relationships across all project teams Team Development Mentor and coach project team members Establish annual performance goals for direct reports and support professional development initiatives Qualifications & Requirements Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Science, or related field 10+ years of experience supervising or assisting with increasingly complex construction projects Skills & Competencies Strong leadership and team management capabilities Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously Strong financial and operational acumen Excellent communication and negotiation skills Ability to perform effectively under pressure while coordinating diverse teams Physical Requirements Traverse active construction sites and uneven terrain Climb ladders and temporary stairways Conduct visual inspections of construction quality and materials Perform jobsite walks to monitor progress and eliminate safety hazards Benefits Compensation Salary range: $195,000 – $295,000 annually (companywide range) Annual discretionary bonus based on company profitability and performance Health & Insurance Medical, dental, and vision insurance (PPO and High Deductible/HSA plan options) Company contribution to HSA Company-paid short- and long-term disability Company-paid life insurance and AD&D Time Off Untracked/unmeasured vacation Sick leave accrued at 1 hour per 30 hours worked (up to 80-hour annual carryover) 9 paid holidays annually Paid parental leave Retirement & Ownership 401(k) with company match
