Job Title: Project Management Support Specialist Location : Holloman AFB - Alamogordo, NM Canvas is seeking a qualified individual to provide advisory and assistance services to the Air Force in project/program management efforts associated with specific test needs at the Holloman Engineering Development Center (AEDC) at Holloman AFB, NM. The candidate will provide a wide range of services including procurement support, contract administration assistance, and records management/administrative support for a variety of planning and executing projects. Duties Documenting project scope, objectives, KPPs, and KSAs. Working knowledge of project phases (Initiation, Planning, Design, Execution, and Closeout). Monthly project review briefings to our Air Force customer. Working with finance to develop project spend plans. Holding weekly/bi-weekly meetings for project updates. Advise the Air Force of any project disconnects, risks, opportunities, and overall progress. Define and document project requirements and deliverables through direct stakeholder engagement. Managing complex projects of all sizes. Knowledge/Familiarity of project acquisition strategy and key program events such as decision points, reviews, contract award, Contract Line-Item Number (CLIN) structure. Follow a structured system engineering approach that facilitates project milestone reviews including but not limited to; Integrated Baseline Review (IBR), Preliminary Design Review (PDR), Critical Design Review (CDR), Verification Readiness Review (VRR), Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Functional Configuration Audit (FCA), and Physical Configuration Audit (PCA). Assess contractor documentation against project requirements. Ensuring all documentation is in place and stored in proper repository. Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues. Developing contingency plans to minimize risks and keep projects on track. Foster and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution across all locations. Requirements PMP certification desirable Minimum Education PM1 - Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field OR substitution as described below. PM2 - Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field OR substitution as described below. PM3 - Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field OR substitution as described below. Minimum Experience PM1- 0 years of experience PM2- 0-3 years of experience PM3 -3-10 year of experience Security Clearance Must be able to acquire and maintain a Secret clearance.
