Job#: 3029477 Job Description: Project Manager 2 - PM2 Location: Smyrna, Georgia (Onsite) Employment Type: Contract Role Overview A Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects within an organization. This role involves working with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed successfully, on time, within scope, and on budget. The Project Manager is a key contributor to delivering value to the organization and its stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Develop comprehensive project plans, including defining project scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements. Assemble project teams, assign responsibilities, and lead cross-functional teams to achieve project goals. Develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring projects stay within budgetary constraints. Define project scope and monitor changes, documenting and communicating them as necessary. Identify potential project risks and develop risk mitigation plans to proactively address issues. Create project schedules and timelines, and monitor progress to ensure timely completion. Maintain regular communication with project stakeholders, keeping them informed of project progress. Implement quality control processes to ensure project deliverables meet established standards. Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and project closure reports. Address and resolve project issues and conflicts, escalating to senior management when necessary. Required Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as project management, business, or a technical discipline. Experience: 5-10 years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of successful project delivery. Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management software and tools. Advanced understanding of project management methodologies, including Agile or Scrum. Preferred Qualifications Project Management Professional (PMP) or other relevant certifications. Compensation & Benefits The estimated pay range for this position is $50.00/hr to $57.44/hr. This employer provides benefits to eligible employees.
