Project Manager – Architectural Millwork Tech 2000 Woodworks Jeannette, PA 15644 Full-Time | Hybrid Flexibility Available Position Overview Tech 2000 Woodworks is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead commercial architectural millwork and casework projects from award through closeout. This role serves as the key connection between the jobsite, clients, engineering, procurement, production, and installation teams — helping ensure projects move efficiently from coordination through fabrication and final installation. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, detail-oriented, and an excellent communicator, comfortable managing multiple fast-paced commercial projects simultaneously. Strong follow-through, responsiveness, and the ability to keep teams aligned and informed throughout the project lifecycle are essential for success in this role. Experience in architectural millwork, commercial interiors, cabinetry, casework, or specialty construction trades is strongly preferred. Responsibilities Manage multiple commercial millwork and casework projects simultaneously Review contracts, architectural drawings, specifications, and project scope requirements Coordinate shop drawings, submittals, RFIs, field verification, and change orders Work closely with engineering, procurement, and production teams to maintain fabrication schedules Coordinate with general contractors, field installers, specialty vendors, and other trades throughout the project lifecycle Track procurement status and long lead materials Conduct field visits and verify site readiness when required Identify scheduling, coordination, or fabrication risks proactively Maintain strong communication with clients and internal teams Assist with project scheduling, billing coordination, and project closeout activities Help improve workflow efficiency and reduce rework through strong coordination and follow-through Qualifications 3–5+ years of experience in commercial millwork, casework, interior construction, or related construction project management Strong understanding of architectural drawings, specifications, and construction coordination Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment Strong follow-through, problem-solving, and task management abilities Comfortable coordinating with field personnel, fabrication teams, vendors, and clients Comfortable performing field measurements / field verification on active construction sites Ability to verify dimensions accurately and identify potential coordination issues prior to fabrication Reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently during site visits and project coordination Experience with Microsoft Office and project management software required Experience with Monday.com, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, or Microvellum is a plus Background in woodworking, architecture, fabrication, or construction management preferred Work Environment Primary office location: Jeannette, PA Hybrid flexibility available for the right candidate Occasional site visits and in-person coordination meetings required (the vast majority of project site visits are within the greater Pittsburgh, PA area) Compensation & Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance SIMPLE IRA with company match Paid time off and paid holidays Flexible schedule Opportunities for professional growth and advancement Work Location: Hybrid / In Person Pay: $69,323.00 - $85,485.77 per year Benefits Dental insurance Flexible schedule Fuel discount Health insurance Opportunities for advancement Paid time off Retirement plan Vision insurance Application Question(s): Do you have experience managing multiple commercial construction or millwork projects simultaneously?
