Westwood has a highly experienced and dynamic team of individuals dedicated to providing high-level professional services to our clients. The Project Manager - Architecture researches, plans, designs and administers building projects to ensure that goals or objectives of the project are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters. The candidate should be a self-starter, driven, high performer with good communication skills. Our ideal candidate will have 8+ years of architecture design and project management experience supporting design projects. This position is responsible for complex design tasks as well as marketing, business development, client contact and growth of a team. Requirements Consults with clients to determine functional and spatial requirements of new structure or renovation, and prepares information regarding design, specifications, materials, color, equipment, estimated costs, and construction time Visits project site to become familiar with existing conditions Prepares fee proposals and time, cost and staffing budgets for project for Department Head approval Directs and coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget Plans layout of project and integrating engineering elements into unified design for client review and approval Prepares scale drawings and contract documents for building contractors Represents client in obtaining bids and awarding construction contract Administers construction contracts and conducts periodic on-site observation of work during construction to monitor compliance with plans Prepares studies and reports Prepares project designs and plans us
