Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Project Assistant to support our construction management team and two Field Assistants to support our Client Dedicated Technicians . These roles involve following instructions related to assistance with project activities, assisting with scheduling follow up meetings for Project Managers with our clients, and ensuring smooth communication across teams. Ideal candidates will have a strong desire to learn basic business operations, sales, or residential construction industry practices. Project management software and technician tools are provided. MUST have excellent time management skills and professional etiquette. This position offers an opportunity to grow within a dynamic construction environment and contribute to the successful delivery of projects from inception to completion. Responsibilities Assist in communicating project scheduling decisions to clients and technicians Support data collection in the preparation and management of contracts, change orders, and project documentation via following direct instructions and written checklists. Assist in obtaining photographs and obtaining on-site digital measurements using software's to assist in estimate writing Support on-site activities by communicating deliveries, photographing materials, and ensuring correct location drops. Skills Professional Etiquette is required Ability to handle stress and dynamic shifts in daily tasks depending on weather and delays Strong desire for achievement through providing value focused results Experience with communicating in a professional manner or willingness to learn Familiarity with retail sales or other customer focused positions is a benefit Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively Strong organizational skills with attention to detail Effective communication skills for liaising between teams and stakeholders Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment This role is ideal for candidates wishing to learn entry level outside sales, project estimating/management, or individuals wishing to learn hands on in a setting where commission structure is supported by the growing flow generated off our dedicated technicians. We offer a pay to learn structure and do not expect individuals to achieve success without support from our current team. We are focused on controlled growth and willing to offer long term positions as well as short term summer positions. Prior experience with construction site activities, customer service representative positions, health industry assistants, or restaurant/bar server related fields preferred but not required. We find these previous fields have a strong overlap in skillsets.
