Job Description
Inspire Homes is seeking an experienced Residential Construction Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of custom home projects from permitting through final walk-through. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced construction environment and takes pride in building high-quality homes while keeping projects on schedule and within budget. The Project Manager will work closely with ownership, clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure every project is executed with precision, professionalism, and attention to detail. Responsibilities Manage all phases of residential home construction from groundbreaking through final punch list Develop and maintain project schedules using Critical Path Method (CPM) Conduct pre-construction meetings and regular on-site inspections Coordinate and communicate with clients, subcontractors, and vendors throughout the build process Ensure compliance with all local building codes, permits, and safety regulations Monitor jobsite safety, cleanliness, and overall progress Track job costs and review subcontractor invoices for approval Coordinate with the sales and accounting teams to ensure contract scope and budgets are executed accurately Prepare and process selection change orders and work orders in collaboration with design and sales teams Utilize construction management software and digital tools to track schedules, budgets, documentation, and communication Maintain high construction quality standards across all projects Qualifications 5+ years of residential construction project management experience OR 5+ years as a self-employed craftsman managing in-house crews Strong knowledge of residential construction methods, scheduling, and permitting Comfortable using modern technology, including construction management software, digital plans, and project tracking tools Strong computer skills and ability to quickly learn new software platforms Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Clean driving record required Physical Requirements Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 100 lbs when necessary Ability to sit, stand, or drive for extended periods Comfortable working both in the field and in an office environment What We Offer Opportunity to build high-quality custom homes in the Skagit Valley region Collaborative work environment with experienced leadership Competitive compensation based on experience Opportunity for growth within a growing custom home builder Apply today to join a team dedicated to building exceptional homes and delivering outstanding client experiences.
