Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead highway and roadway construction projects in the Quad Cities and surrounding Midwest markets. This role is responsible for managing DOT funded work from preconstruction through closeout, with a strong focus on schedule, cost control, safety, and coordination with public agencies. The ideal candidate has a solid background in transportation infrastructure and is comfortable managing complex civil scopes in active traffic environments. Responsibilities Manage highway and roadway construction projects from award through completion Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and cost forecasts Coordinate with DOT representatives, inspectors, engineers, and subcontractors Oversee project documentation including submittals, RFIs, change orders, and pay applications Monitor production, quantities, and unit pricing Ensure compliance with safety standards, project specifications, and DOT requirements Support preconstruction planning, job setup, and logistics Work closely with superintendents to drive schedule and field performance Requirements: 5 or more years of project management experience in highway or heavy civil construction Strong knowledge of DOT specifications, unit price work, and public bid projects Experience with grading, paving, utilities, structures, and roadway improvements Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and public agency coordination Proficiency with scheduling software, spreadsheets, and project management systems Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills What We Offer: Competitive compensation and performance incentives Stable backlog of DOT and municipal highway projects Long term career growth with a well established regional heavy civil contractor Collaborative team environment with strong field and office support Benefits 401k Healthcare Bonus Pool Profit Sharing Company Vehicle Email Your Resume In Word To Cristian.Lara@CyberCoders.com Looking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
