Job Description
Job Title: Project Manager | Equipment Installation Location: Hoffman Estates, IL (Onsite) Hire Type: Direct Hire Target Salary: ~$90K/year (flexible based on experience) Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, PTO, and 401(k) Must-Have Skills: 3+ years of project management experience in engineering, manufacturing, or technical environments Experience managing capital equipment or complex technical projects Strong customer-facing communication skills Ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and priorities Proficiency with project management tools and ERP/CRM systems Job Summary: The Project Manager will lead the full lifecycle of capital equipment projects, from order through installation and final customer acceptance. This role serves as the primary point of contact for customers while coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Job Duties: Manage end-to-end equipment installation projects from order entry through commissioning and closeout Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing updates and resolving issues Develop and maintain project timelines, budgets, and resource plans Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and service teams to ensure project alignment Track project milestones, deliverables, and key action items Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies Manage scope changes, including schedule and cost impacts Monitor project financials, including budgets, costs, and invoicing milestones Ensure all project documentation is accurate and compliant with industry standards Support on-site installation, commissioning, and equipment startup as needed Drive continuous improvement through lessons learned and process enhancements Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree preferred (Engineering, Life Sciences, Business, or related) Experience in pharmaceutical, life sciences, or regulated environments is a plus Familiarity with GMP, FDA, or similar regulatory standards is beneficial PMP or similar certification is a plus Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, or genetic information.
