Job Title:Project Manager - Naval Shafting DepartmentLocation: Insert Location Employment Type:Full-Time About Us:We are a leading full-service provider of engineered equipment repair and machining services, proudly supporting both military and commercial marine industries.Known for our precision, reliability, and quality workmanship, we deliver solutions that meet the highest standards in the industry.We are currently looking for a skilled and driven Project Manager to join our Naval Shafting Department.Position Overview:The Project Manager will lead, plan, schedule, and coordinate shafting-related projects from start to finish.This individual will work closely with internal teams, vendors, and clients to ensure all project deliverables are met on time and within budget., we also value candidates with commercial ship repair or related mechanical project experience.Key Responsibilities:Manage shafting projects from initiation through completion, ensuring quality, cost, and schedule targets are met.Create and maintain detailed project schedules using Microsoft Project and other planning tools.Coordinate labor, materials, and subcontractor support as needed.Act as the main point of contact between the client and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.Track progress, manage risks, and proactively resolve issues.Maintain all project-related documentation, reports, and status updates.Promote and uphold safety, compliance, and quality control practices.Qualifications:3years of experience in project management, preferably within the marine, ship repair, or mechanical services industry.Strong organizational and scheduling skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Project.Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.Familiarity with shafting systems or marine/mechanical equipment is a plus.Preferred Qualifications:PMP Certification or equivalent project management training.Experience in a shipyard or marine engineering setting.Understanding of military or commercial ship repair standards.Benefits:We offer a competitive and comprehensive benefits package, including:Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance 401(k) Retirement Plan with Company Match Paid Time Off (PTO) and Holidays Professional Development Opportunities A supportive, team-oriented work environment Join Our Team:If you're an experienced project leader with a background in ship repair, mechanical services, or marine engineering, we'd love to hear from you.Join us in delivering high-quality, mission-critical services that keep our clients' vessels and operations running at peak performance.Job Type:Full-time Pay:$30.00 - $39.00 per hour Benefits:401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Ability to Commute:Vernon, CA 90058 (Required) Ability to Relocate:Vernon, CA 90058:Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location:In person.
