Job Description
Job Title: Business Operations Manager – Jordan Olympics **Location:: Los Angeles, CA , Onsite Some domestic travel may be required, including occasional travel to Oregon and other U.S. locations.** Contract Duration - 12 Months Contract (Potential extension through Olympics 2028 projects) Overview We are seeking an experienced Business Operations Manager to support high-impact initiatives tied to the LA28 Olympics within Jordan Brand. This role will play a critical part in driving operational excellence, cross-functional alignment, and execution across multiple strategic workstreams supporting Jordan’s Olympics vision. The ideal candidate is a highly organized operator and program leader who thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and can successfully manage complex initiatives across a global matrixed organization. Key Responsibilities Translate strategic priorities into actionable execution plans and operational workstreams Build and manage integrated project plans with clear timelines, milestones, ownership, and success metrics Lead end-to-end project management across multiple concurrent initiatives Drive cross-functional coordination across Brand, Sports Marketing, Product, Marketplace, Geographies, and Business Integration teams Develop scalable processes, tools, and operational frameworks to improve execution efficiency Identify risks, bottlenecks, and dependencies early and proactively implement mitigation strategies Facilitate alignment among internal leadership teams and external stakeholders Communicate project updates, insights, and recommendations to senior leadership Support budget management and vendor/external partner coordination Foster collaboration and accountability across diverse teams and stakeholders Help teams adopt new ways of working while maintaining operational clarity and momentum Required Qualifications Minimum 8+ years of experience in business operations, program management, project management, or related functions Proven experience working within global, highly matrixed organizations Strong cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management skills Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation abilities Demonstrated success managing complex initiatives from strategy through execution Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-moving environments Strong systems-thinking and problem-solving capabilities Experience engaging with senior leadership, external partners, athletes, and federations preferred Preferred Qualifications Prior experience working with client vendors/partners strongly preferred Experience supporting large-scale brand, sports, or cultural initiatives is a plus Understanding of the intersection of sport, culture, style, and brand storytelling preferred Education Bachelor’s Degree Preferred But Not Required Technical Skills Microsoft Outlook Excel Keynote Box Presentation and collaboration tools Success Metrics Projects delivered on time and within scope Strong operational alignment across global teams and stakeholders Scalable processes improving team efficiency and execution quality Proactive risk identification and resolution Clear accountability and collaboration across functions Additional Information This role will report directly to leadership at LAHQ and collaborate closely with Business Integration and cross-functional global teams. Candidate must be comfortable working onsite and engaging with stakeholders throughout Los Angeles during Olympics-related activities.
