Part-Time Project Manager Paint EZ | Iowa City, North Liberty, Cedar Rapids, IA & surrounding areas About Us Paint EZ is one of Eastern Iowa’s fastest growing residential and commercial painting companies, focused on delivering a 5-star customer experience from estimate to final walkthrough. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a highly organized, people focused Project Manager to help oversee projects, support crews, and ensure every customer has an exceptional experience. Position Overview We are seeking a motivated Part Time Project Manager who can help manage active painting projects, communicate with customers and crews, maintain quality standards, and help keep operations running smoothly. This role will work directly with ownership and has the opportunity to grow into a larger leadership role as the company expands. Responsibilities Conduct project kickoff meetings with customers and painting crews on job site Visit active job sites throughout the week to ensure quality, cleanliness, and schedule adherence Communicate with homeowners, property managers, and crews throughout each project Coordinate project schedules, weather delays, material deliveries, and job logistics Order paint, materials, and supplies as needed Identify potential issues early and proactively solve problems Perform final walkthroughs with customers to ensure satisfaction Take project photos/videos for documentation and marketing purposes Help ensure crews uphold Paint EZ standards for professionalism, cleanliness, and workmanship Assist ownership with operational tasks, customer communication, and project follow up Qualifications Previous leadership, management, or project coordination experience preferred Experience in construction, painting, remodeling, or home services is a plus Strong communication and people skills Highly organized with strong attention to detail Ability to problem solve quickly and stay calm under pressure Comfortable using smartphones, apps, texting, photos, scheduling software, and email Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required Self motivated, dependable, and able to work independently Compensation $24–$28 per hour based on experience Performance bonuses available Flexible part-time schedule (approximately 15–25 hours per week) Opportunity for growth into a full time leadership position Why Join Paint EZ?
