Summary The Project Superintendent is responsible for leading day-to-day field operations for multi-family construction projects in Summit County, supporting the Lakewood office . This role requires a hands-on field leader with commercial General Contractor experience who can oversee subcontractors and self-perform crews while delivering projects safely, on schedule, and within budget. Experience working in high-elevation or mountain environments is strongly preferred. Local candidates or those with significant Summit County project experience are highly valued. Duties & Responsibilities Field Operations Management Direct and manage all jobsite activities from project start through completion Oversee self-perform labor crews and subcontractor work Ensure daily production goals are achieved through coordination with foremen and craftsmen Maintain compliance with project specifications, schedule, and budget Schedule & Trade Coordination Conduct weekly subcontractor meetings on-site Monitor trade performance for schedule adherence, safety compliance, and quality control Review RFI status, manage delays, and coordinate additional work requirements Ensure subcontractors are working from accurate and up-to-date drawings Project Oversight & Communication Communicate consistently with the Project Manager and project team regarding issues, changes, or delays Represent project leadership in communication with Owners and public entities Assist with closeout meetings beginning 30 days prior to project completion Develop and implement strategies to complete projects on or ahead of schedule and at or under budget Budget & Production Control Track self-performed work production and maintain alignment with budget Enforce pre-established field guidelines and operational procedures Supervision Supervise up to 100 combined employees and subcontractors to meet specific project objectives Qualifications & Requirements Experience Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Superintendent with a Commercial General Contractor Proven experience managing multi-family or similar large-scale commercial projects Experience coordinating and scheduling subcontractors Mountain or high-elevation construction experience preferred Project Exposure (Preferred) Industrial / Big-Box / Tilt-Up Office Education Retail Aviation Medical Multi-Family Federal / Municipal Hospitality / Hotel / Casino Sports & Recreation Parking Structures Tenant Improvements / Renovations Technical Skills Experience with construction scheduling software (P6 preferred) Experience with Procore preferred Strong knowledge of field concepts, construction practices, and safety procedures Benefits Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401(k) with company match Parental Leave Paid Time Off (PTO) Paid Holidays Long-term and Short-term Disability Insurance Supplemental Insurance Employment Type: Full time Location: Colorado Springs, CO
