Project Technology Specialist Category Engineering Work Location US-MI-Detroit ID 2026-2403 Overview The Opportunity As Project Technology Specialist (PTS), you will support and advance technology adoption across the Walbridge enterprise. This role will contribute to the planning, implementation, and continuous improvement of construction technologies that enhance project delivery, operational efficiency, and innovation. On large, complex projects, you'll embed with the team early-pursuit through preconstruction, mobilization, and early execution-to help launch both new and existing technologies. You'll lead hands-on deployment and training, optimize performance in the field, and complete a structured handoff to project or operations team members for long-term ownership. In this tactical role, you'll be required to roll up your sleeves, translate goals into practical solutions, influence adoption, and partner with Walbridge teammates, customers, and vendors to deliver measurable value. You will also bring the perspective from the field back to the corporate office to influence future strategy around technology. As a Walbridge Technology Ambassador, you'll represent our team at industry events and conferences-building relationships, sharing best practices, and strengthening Walbridge's reputation for construction technology leadership.
