Role Description This is a part-time, on-site role located in San Jose, CA, for a Property Associate at Rogers & Rogers Realtors. The Property Associate will be responsible for assisting with property management tasks, supporting real estate transactions, coordinating property viewings, maintaining property records, and fostering positive relationships with clients. Additionally, they will support the team in managing both commercial and residential properties. As a Property Associate, you will serve as the primary administrative point of contact for an office property or portfolio. You will also provide accounting and financial support, maintain positive tenant relations and provide superior customer service. Estimated total compensation for this position: $23.00 - $35/ per hour The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data . What your day-to-day will look like: Provide exceptional customer service to tenants by responding to inquiries, processing service requests, and coordinating resolution of maintenance issues Support property management team with administrative tasks including data entry, document preparation, and maintenance of property records and databases Process Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), certificates of insurance (COIs), code invoices and complete other financial tasks Assist with vendor coordination and work order management to ensure timely completion of maintenance and repair activities Help prepare monthly reports, financial summaries, and property performance updates for senior management and clients Support lease administration activities including tenant move-in processes, document filing, and communication coordination Assist with tenant events, building communications, and community engagement initiatives to enhance tenant experience Provide backup support for reception duties, mail distribution, and general office operations as needed All other tasks which may be required to comply with Property Management Agreements, local ordinances, or as necessary to ensure property operations Qualifications Experience in Property Management and a strong understanding of real estate operations 1-2 years of work experience in an office environment, preferably in residential property management. 1-2 years of work experience in a customer service or customer-facing position CA real estate license preferred. Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively Strong written and verbal communication skills. Familiarity with Residential Real Estate practices Knowledge of real estate investments and market trends Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Self-motivated and capable of working independently Experience with real estate software or property management tools is a plus
