Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Property Manager specialized in short-term rental properties to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of short-term rental units, ensuring exceptional guest experiences while maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations. Your proactive approach and excellent customer service skills will drive occupancy rates, optimize property performance, and foster positive relationships with guests, owners, and vendors. Duties Manage the end-to-end leasing process for short-term rentals, including marketing, showings, negotiations, and contract signing using platforms like Yardi and OneSite. Coordinate property maintenance and facilities management to ensure all units are in optimal condition, adhering to safety standards and legal requirements such as Fair Housing regulations. Handle guest inquiries, reservations, check-ins, and check-outs with professionalism and excellent phone etiquette to maximize customer satisfaction and upselling opportunities. Oversee legal administrative tasks related to lease agreements, contracts, and compliance with landlord-tenant law and Section 8 housing programs. Conduct regular property inspections, manage data entry for occupancy reports, filing of documents, and maintain accurate records using property management software like Yardi or CMMS systems. Resolve conflicts efficiently through conflict management techniques while maintaining positive relationships with tenants and stakeholders. Monitor property performance metrics, analyze occupancy trends, and implement strategies to increase revenue through effective sales and leasing tactics. Qualifications Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles with a focus on short-term rentals or hospitality environments. Strong knowledge of LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit), Section 8 programs, Fair Housing regulations, and landlord-tenant law. Familiarity with property management software such as Yardi, OneSite, or similar platforms; experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) is a plus. Excellent customer service skills combined with effective negotiation abilities to upsell services or amenities. Demonstrated conflict management skills and the ability to handle complex situations diplomatically. Office experience including data entry, filing, contracts management, and phone etiquette is essential. Knowledge of facilities management practices including property maintenance coordination and legal compliance requirements.
