About the Role Last Light Outdoor Retreat is a boutique micro-resort on the Seneca Wine Trail in Lodi, NY -- six private cottage-style units on seven acres.We're looking for a reliable, detail-oriented person to be our on-the-ground presence and make sure every guest arrives to a property that looks and feels exceptional.The core of this job is unit turnovers and cleaning.If you take pride in making a space look perfect and you're the kind of person who notices when something's off and fixes it without being asked, this role is for you.Schedule:Sunday-Friday, approximately 10am-4pm Hours:30-40 hours/week during peak season (May-October), with flexible reduced hours in the off-season.Additional hours are available for candidates who want them.On-call:Available for occasional evening emergencies This schedule could be good for someone who wants to do school drop-off and pick-up.We're committed to flexibility for the right person.Responsibilities Perform unit turnovers and cleans -- this is the primary function of the role Inspect units after cleaning before every guest check-in Walk outdoor areas daily -- hot tubs, fire pits, lawn games -- and confirm everything is guest-ready Monitor and restock supplies across all units and common areas Coordinate with our handyman on repairs and maintenance tasks Coordinate additional turnover/cleans (you won't do all the cleans) Handle small on-the-spot issues as they come up Document property conditions through daily photos and videos Be available locally for occasional urgent situations outside regular hours Requirements Lives locally -- Lodi, Burdett, Hector, Ovid, Interlaken, or Trumansburg strongly preferred Prior experience in hospitality, housekeeping, hotel operations, or food & beverage High personal standards -- you notice when something is off and fix it without being asked Reliable and self-directed; able to manage a daily routine independently Strong with technology -- you'll use Slack, a property management software for guest communication, and your phone daily for photo/video documentation.Comfort learning new tools is a must.Growth Opportunity This is an early and important position at a property that's actively growing.As we add units and expand into managing additional properties in the area, the right candidate will have a real path to move into a broader operations and management role.We're looking for someone who wants to grow with us, not just fill a seasonal slot.To Apply Please submit a resume along with a brief note about why this role is a good fit for you.Pay:$20.00 - $24.00 per hour Benefits:Flexible schedule Work Location:In person.
