POSITION SUMMARY: The Tooling: Prototype and CNC Mill/EDM Specialist is responsible for supporting the Toolroom and Manufacturing by creating fixtures, prototypes or samples of potential new products for customers. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Assists with new product development for samples, prototypes and tooling. Works with weld fixtures, pin gauges, one-hit dimple dies, and other welding support. Operates machines as needed. Design tooling and fixtures utilizing CAD-CAM/Solidworks software Operate CNC and EDM machines to support the Tool Room and Manufacturing needs Support other tooling projects as needed. ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE: Ability to follow Directions Adaptability Arm-Hand Steadiness Interpersonal Skills to interact with all Team Members. Manual Dexterity Mathematics Problem Sensitivity Solidworks Time Management.
