Prove Up NDT Operator

NDT Operators Purpose:Performs NDT Test on pipes deciding their approval or rejection, in a safe and efficient manner according to applicable procedures, complying with defined quality standards.Main Activities: Executes change over and set up of the machine. Ensures instruments are in good condition checking their expiration date and correct functioning. Executes calibration of the machine. Verifies Standard Pipe. Executes static and if applicable dynamic verification. Performs machine operation. Performs Ultrasonic Test on pipes. Supervises Prove Up. Carries out or controls defect identification and marking. Makes the decision of approving or rejecting pipes in accordance to quality requirements. Checks specifications on manufacturing orders. Performs quality reports of pipes notifying the defects found. Assists machine lock outs and tag outs and does operative maintenance (coupling fluid, probes adjustments, etc.).
