Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) Independent Contractor – Hybrid Position Location: Alexandria About Us North Creek Psychiatry & Wellness Collective is a growing outpatient mental health practice focused on compassionate, patient-centered care across the lifespan. We are currently seeking a dedicated and motivated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our team as an Independent Contractor in a flexible hybrid role serving the Alexandria, Minnesota area. Position Highlights Hybrid schedule with a combination of: In-person appointments Telehealth services Flexible scheduling and autonomy Independent contractor (1099) position Competitive revenue split Administrative support available Credentialing assistance provided Opportunity to build and grow your own caseload Supportive and collaborative practice environment Responsibilities Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments Diagnose and treat mental health conditions across the lifespan Develop individualized treatment plans Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications Provide patient education and supportive psychotherapy as appropriate Maintain timely and accurate documentation within the electronic health record (EHR) Collaborate with therapists, primary care providers, and other healthcare professionals when appropriate Follow ethical, legal, and professional standards of practice QualificationsRequired Active or eligible Minnesota APRN license Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) DEA license (or ability to obtain) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently while maintaining collaborative care practices Preferred Experience in outpatient psychiatry or behavioral health Interest in working with children, adolescents, and/or adults Telehealth experience (not required) New Graduates Welcome We recognize the transition into practice can feel overwhelming, and we strive to provide a supportive environment for early-career PMHNPs.
