Opportunity: Physician - Psychiatry Job Details: Provide behavioral health services to individual patients across the lifespan in both local and outlying communities Part-time or full-time position available with Monday through Friday schedule from 8am-5pm No evenings or weekends required Practice consists primarily of outpatient services with possibility of rotating schedule for inpatient/ED consults Conduct health screenings and comprehensive psychiatric evaluations Prescribe, monitor, manage, and evaluate psychopharmacological medications Provide integrated mental health services in general health settings Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, clinical social workers, nurse practitioners, and support staff Seek consultation and refer patients to other providers when necessary Work with other departments and specialties to treat patients with complex medical needs and comorbid mental health concerns Pediatric experience and competence preferred though not required MD degree with Board Certification or Board Eligibility in psychiatry required ABPP certification preferred though not required Child/adolescent certification preferred though not required Must complete successful credentialing process prior to practice Strong analytical, critical thinking, and organizational skills required Excellent oral and written communication abilities essential Compensation: Employed salary with benefits. by Jobble
