Our practice is composed of highly credentialed Licensed Psychologists, Licensed Clinical Professional Counselors, and Licensed Clinical Social Workers. Our therapists offer individual, family, and marital/couples therapy to children, adolescents, and adults. PSYCHIATRIC NURSE PRACTITIONER JOB OPENING AT NEW INSIGHTS BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SERVICES: Our organization is excited to welcome the addition of an Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to our team who would enjoy treating anxiety disorders, mood disorders, eating disorders, trauma, and substance abuse. We pride ourselves on being a strong multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest level of treatment for our clients. We strongly believe in the benefits of medication and how it can also augment the client's success in therapy and in life. Available Shift: Part Time; flexible hours. Private practice opportunity. Our staff will handle any credentialing as needed. Responsibilities: Assess patients to determine fit for outpatient psychiatric services, establish provisional diagnosis, and develop comprehensive treatment plans. Provide ongoing treatment to identified patients, including but not limited to medication management and psychotherapy services. Educate staff on best practices in the management of co-occurring psychiatric, eating and/or substance use disorders. If necessary, provide crisis intervention services to patients to ensure risk levels are properly managed and, when appropriate, triaged to a higher level of care. Manage all patient prescriptions, initial and refills. Collect client payments based on quotes received. Submit electronic billing logs and patient documentation for all appointments on a daily basis. Maintain ongoing collateral contact with patient’s referring physician and/or psychotherapist, as well as any other pertinent treatment providers, to ensure consistent and optimum level of care. Participate in consultation and CMEs in accordance with licensure law(s).
