Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Psychiatric Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide compassionate care to patients with mental health conditions, offering support and treatment in a clinical setting. Duties - Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by psychiatrists - Monitor patients for changes in behavior, symptoms, or side effects - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care - Educate patients and families on mental health conditions and treatment options Requirements - Valid RN license with psychiatric specialty certification - Experience in psychiatric nursing, preferably in a hospital or mental health facility - Knowledge of hospice palliative medicine and utilization review is a plus - Familiarity with ER procedures, telehealth, ophthalmology, infant care, gastric lavage - Proficiency in medical terminology, medical records management, and Epic software Job Types: Part-time, Contract Pay: $4,500.00 - $7,900.00 per month Work Location: In person
