Job Description
We are seeking Board Certified or Board Eligible Psychiatrists to serve as Clinical Leads within multidisciplinary inpatient treatment teams. These full-time roles are located at a state-operated, Joint Commission–accredited psychiatric care setting in the Long Island region of New York. In this leadership role, you will provide comprehensive, patient-centered, recovery-focused psychiatric care for adults, including: Conducting comprehensive psychiatric assessments and admissions Developing individualized treatment and medication management plans Ordering and reviewing diagnostic tests and collaborating with clinical team members Providing individual and group psychotherapy Supervising psychiatric residents and fellows This state-operated psychiatric care system delivers recovery-oriented services for complex mental health needs, offering a broad range of treatment modalities including behavioral therapies, animal-assisted programming, and ECT. The system maintains academic affiliations and offers training opportunities for psychiatry residents and fellows.
