DESCRIPTION OF WORK This position plays a key role in delivering psychological services that guide patient treatment, as well as supporting teamwork across the hospital. As a Psychological Services Specialist, you will perform the following duties: Team Participation: Attend treatment team meetings and contribute recommendations during discussions Assessment Work: Complete initial and annual evaluations for assigned patients in line with hospital requirements Therapeutic Support: Provide group and individual therapy sessions to strengthen emotional and behavioral health Collaboration Efforts: Work with medical, psychiatric, and interdisciplinary staff to develop treatment and behavior plans Documentation Duties: Maintain required patient records in an electronic record system Interested in learning more? Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. This may change based on operational needs. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: A master’s degree in a behavioral science, counseling education, rehabilitation, human development or a closely related field. Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within three months of graduating with a qualifying degree.
