Clinical Psychologist (PhD/PsyD) ๐ Location: Dallas, TX ๐ผ Position Type: Full-Time Position Overview We are seeking a highly experienced and specialized Clinical Psychologist (PhD/PsyD) to join a collaborative interdisciplinary team in Dallas, Texas . This position involves providing advanced psychological assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based treatment in a complex clinical environment while supporting program development, patient-centered care, and clinical excellence across diverse patient populations. The ideal candidate will have specialized clinical training, strong leadership capabilities, and experience delivering high-quality behavioral health services within multidisciplinary care settings. Key Responsibilities Provide advanced psychological evaluations, diagnosis, and evidence-based therapeutic interventions Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care tailored to diverse clinical needs Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support integrated behavioral and physical healthcare services Participate in treatment planning, case consultation, and continuity of care coordination Support departmental and programmatic development initiatives Contribute to quality improvement efforts and clinical best practices Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation Assist in the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and treatment protocols Participate in education, mentorship, and training of students, residents, and clinical staff as needed Foster strong communication with internal teams, external providers, patients, and families Ensure compliance with all applicable professional, ethical, legal, and regulatory standards Remain current with developments, research, and best practices in clinical psychology and specialized treatment areas Qualifications Doctoral degree in Psychology (PhD or PsyD) from an APA-accredited university Completion of an APA-accredited internship Licensed Psychologist by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists Strong background in clinical psychology, including: Psychological assessment Psychotherapeutic intervention Family systems Developmental orientation Experience in a specialized area of psychological practice such as: Child psychology Palliative care Pain management Addictions Correctional health Other specialty behavioral health areas Demonstrated experience providing treatment across a variety of complex clinical cases Training in evidence-based specialized treatments (EBSTs) preferred Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills Ability to deliver culturally responsive and patient-centered care Preferred Qualifications Certification or advanced training in specialized treatment modalities preferred Experience working in multidisciplinary or hospital-based settings preferred Required Documents / Additional Requirements Active Texas Psychologist license required Interested ?
