Psychologist Intern

REPORTS TO: Building Principal and Director/Assistant Director of Special Education WORK YEAR: 2026-2027 School Year COMPENSATION: $15,000 SUMMARY: Under the supervision of a licensed School Psychologist, the intern may participate in a wide variety of activities including: evaluative assessments, MTSS process, PBIS, and/or problem solving, crisis management, FBA/BIP development/monitoring, and other activities as determined and allowed by District, State, and University requirements. QUALIFICATIONS: School Psychologist Intern approval from Illinois State Board of Education Masters degree in Psychology or enrolled in and scheduled to complete EdS program for School Psychology at the conclusion of internship. Experience working with students in an educational setting, preferred The ability to work collaboratively with others to optimize student achievement. Assessment formal and informal assessment procedures selecting appropriate assessment instruments conducting assessments appropriately interpreting assessment information accurately screening/referral/evaluation process assessment of instructional goals and objectives reporting assessment data in a clear and concise manner providing classroom observations providing consultation to resource staff regarding assessment and interpretation of results B.
