Title : Public Affairs Specialist (contingent 034) Location: APG, MD Secret security clearance is required. Provide support services for all public affairs functions to enhance CPE IEW&S's communications abilities and respond appropriately to community leaders, media outlet or other outreach opportunities. Demonstrates a basic understanding of federal government public relations/affairs. Able to develop and execute tailored communications plans, create content across multiple mediums, primarily in written form (i.e. articles, fact sheets, briefing slides, correspondence, messaging, speech writing, etc.) and work with creative team for visual products that span the headquarters and different levels of Project and Product Management. Plan, develop, and implement the organization's public affairs programs, policies, events, and activities to include correspondence, messaging, and campaigns that span the different levels of Project and Product Management. Establish and maintain relationships with Army and other Services to ensure effective communications and change-readiness capabilities are in place. Provide peer review of physical and virtual promotional materials. Independently develop strategic and executive-level communication materials, including but not limited to talking points, speeches, remarks, etc., supporting senior leaders, incorporating clear and impactful messaging. Collaborate with mission partners to develop successful communications strategies by being at the forefront of publicity campaigns concerning the organization through newspapers, periodicals, and audio and visual communications media, including the Internet and outward facing websites.
