Public Works Laborer

The City of Crisfield Department of Public Works is accepting applications for a Public Works Laborer.Must have a valid Maryland Driver's License.This position requires the ability to assist in road maintenance, street sign repair, road patching, lawn mowing, general building maintenance, etc.Must be capable of driving all vehicles that are associated with a Class C license.Responsible for assisting in cleaning and repairing City storm drains, maintenance on City vehicles and all general maintenance in the shop at the Public Works Department.Position not limited to listed duties.This is an on call position which requires working some weekends and Holidays.Normal working hours are 7:00 a.m.to 4:00 p.m.daily.Applicant must be able to pass a drug screening test.Applicants with prior experience will be given preference.Salary will be based upon experience and qualifications.Applications may be obtained at City Hall.The City of Crisfield is an E.O.E.and offers a competitive salary and full benefits.Job Type:Full-time Benefits:Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Retirement plan Vision insurance License/Certification:Driver's License (Required) Work Location:In person.
