Transportation Coordinator Under the general supervision of the Director, the Transportation Coordinator will be responsible for the successful overall operation, execution, direction and coordination of all Transportation matters within the organization of the Santa Rosa Rancheria, and all related services, ensuring an optimal level of guest service and satisfaction is achieved and maintained. The following duties are typical for this classification. Incumbents may not perform all of the listed duties and/or may be required to perform additional or different duties from those set forth below to address business needs and changing business practices. Performs the duties of Transportation Coordinator as assigned; oversees all inspections of vehicles and scheduling of routine maintenance for all program vans & shuttles. Guides and supports all transportation aspects with their daily responsibilities on assigned shift; Utilizes and keeps visual Transportation calendar current and updated daily; Maintains and files all daily vehicle logs, driver inspection reports and vehicle maintenance logs; Ensure that vehicles are safe and meet legal requirements and that drivers are aware of their duties; Assist with training SRR employees obtaining Passenger Carrier Special Driver License as well as schedules and provides necessary passenger trainings on as need basis or renewals; Transports tribal employees, enrolled program participants and other associates upon authorized request by the department director(s) or Tribal Council. The Director may request off site driving when/as needed to support program or to be utilized as a floater or fill-in driver; Responds to departments' requests, complaints or inquiries courteously and promptly; Maintains a working knowledge of the Santa Rosa Rancheria facilities and community as well as special events on property, in order to plan for transportation needs accordingly; Possesses a good working knowledge of all site locations, types and special features; maintains information on all outlets, including hours of operation; Responsible for maintaining a consistent and regular attendance record; Provide support to Director and other departments as needed to enforce/maintain all driving status and compliance as well as initiating random drug tests for insured tribal employee drivers per SRR driving policy. Keep the best interest of the Santa Rosa Rancheria Tachi-Yokut Tribe at all times; Comply with all departmental policies, procedures and directives; Comply with all safety, health and environmental policies, procedures and regulations are followed within the department; Ensure compliance with all Human Resources policies and procedures, promote an environment that treats all people with respect and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind; Other duties as assigned; Drive company vehicles or personal vehicle to conduct business on behalf of the company This job has no supervisory responsibilities. Education and/or Experience High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) One-year related experience and Knowledge of DOT (Department of Transportation) and requirements Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Valid California Driver License Must be insurable through company's carrier and maintain throughout employment Must obtain a Class C Passenger Endorsement License within the 90-days of hire and maintain throughout employment Valid First Aid and CPR certification and maintain throughout employment (or must be able to obtain within 90 days oh hire) Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual must have knowledge of Windows 10 and Microsoft Office. Other Qualifications Must provide a current DMV printout; Must provide a current negative TB test result; Must have or willing to learn the knowledge of Native Customs, Traditions, Culture and be Culturally Sensitive and Tribes Cultural Practices and keep the Confidentiality; Must be able to work flexible hours, nights and weekends; Interact, supervise and promote center activities, events and projects; Must be assertive, yet understanding when redirecting or dealing with youth and adults; Must be willing to work with all ages and ethnic groups; Must be punctual, dependable and project a professional healthy image through dress, behaviors and positive att
