Purchasing Manager Liverpool, NY $100,000 - $150,000 DOE On-site We're looking for a sharp, people-first Purchasing Manager to lead our buying team across two business units and own a supply chain that actually delivers on time, on cost, every time. The Role Reporting to the Director of Supply Chain, you'll lead a team of buyers and take full ownership of strategic procurement, supplier relationships, and inventory control. You're the person who turns a fragmented supplier base into a competitive advantage. What You'll Own Team Leadership Build a high-performance buying team. Coach, develop, and create real succession paths. Drive accountability and a results-first culture. Strategic Sourcing Develop and manage supplier relationships that hit quality, delivery, and cost targets. Negotiate LTAs, lead escalations, and drive year-over-year cost reductions across direct and indirect spend. Inventory & Logistics Sustain tight inventory accuracy, champion cycle count integrity, and continuously improve control processes to meet regulatory and traceability requirements. Performance That Matters 95%+ on-time delivery. PPV targets. Monthly inventory goals. You'll own the numbers and lead the team to beat them. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field 5+ years in Operations or Supply Chain Management Proven negotiation and vendor management experience APICS CSCP or CPIM preferred A track record of developing supply chain talent, not just managing it For more details, email me at james.murawa@acepartners.com
