Our client, a leading organization in the financial technology sector, is seeking a Python Developer to join their dynamic team. As a Python Developer, you will be part of the Market Risk Technology department supporting critical initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully within the organization. Job Title: Python Developer Location: Jersey City, NJ What's the Job? Develop and maintain next-generation Python applications for Market Risk Technology. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand end-to-end processes of risk management applications. Support application deployment, release procedures, and post-release support. Work closely with Business Analysts during UAT phases to ensure smooth implementation. Provide ongoing support during production release cycles to ensure stability and performance. What's Needed? Proven experience with Python and React JS development. Strong knowledge of multi-threading, ORM libraries, and web frameworks such as Django or Flask. Experience with UNIX programming and shell scripting. Good SQL skills with relational databases like Sybase or Oracle. Excellent debugging and unit testing skills, along with proficiency in version control tools such as Git, Mercurial, or SVN. What's in it for me?
