QA Automation Engineer (2 - 4)

Position: QA Engineer Experience: 1–4 Years Location: Pune Employment Type: Full-Time About The Role We are looking for a passionate, detail-oriented QA Engineer with strong knowledge of Automation Testing and a solid understanding of Manual Testing. The ideal candidate should be capable of ensuring software quality through effective test planning, execution, automation scripting, and defect tracking. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts. Perform Manual Testing for web and application-based projects. Develop and maintain Automation Test Scripts for functional and regression testing. Identify, report, and track bugs/issues using defect management tools. Collaborate with developers and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and ensure quality delivery. Participate in requirement analysis and provide QA inputs during development phases. Conduct API, UI, functional, regression, and integration testing. Ensure timely delivery of high-quality software releases. Required Skills Strong knowledge of Automation Testing tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar. Good understanding of Manual Testing concepts and testing lifecycle. Experience in writing and executing test cases and automation scripts. Knowledge of bug-tracking and test-management tools. Understanding of SDLC and STLC processes. Basic knowledge of API testing tools like Postman is preferred. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and coordination abilities. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field. Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
