About Quadrant-i At The Georgia Institute Of Technology Quadrant-i is a recently created unit in Georgia Tech's Office of Commercialization that enables faculty, researchers, and doctoral students to translate technologies developed in research labs into commercial solutions. Georgia Tech seeks an entrepreneurial leader with an excellent record of startup and business experience to serve as a Principal within Quadrant-i. Location Atlanta, GA Job Summary Job Summary We seek a highly motivated, ambitious proven individual who will, through their direct efforts, create and grow highly impactful startups based on Georgia Institute of Technology's (Georgia Tech's) ground-breaking research and intellectual property. We are seeking a talented individual with experience and knowledge to an appointment with the following area of expertise. Experience in engineering and/or business execution, management and customer acquisition in startups with AI/ML-focused innovations. Job Purpose: Serving within Quadrant-i of Georgia Tech, part of the Office of Commercialization, this position assists in the commercialization of technology innovations at Georgia Tech in key areas of product-market fit, business strategy, fundraising, team development and/or other related areas as needed. This position will identify and grow innovation, commercialization, and startup efforts based on Georgia Tech's research and intellectual property in close coordination with the Director of Quadrant-i and the broader activities of the Chief Commercialization Officer. Impact & Influence This position reports directly to the Director of Quadrant-i. The position requires regular interaction with all members of Quadrant-i including the Director, the Chief Commercialization Officer, other Principals within Quadrant-i and Georgia Tech's faculty, staff, and students.
