We are looking for qualified Seasonal Quality Assurance Technician to join our team.The Quality Assurance Technician will work closely with the operations, sales, and logistics teams.In this role, you will inspect and monitor products to ensure they meet customer and company quality standards, including grading samples, checking packaging, labeling, and weighing materials.In addition, you will coordinate with field and cooler locations on quality findings and report any issues.You will report directly the Quality Assurance Manager.This is a seasonal role based in Parrish, FL.Candidates must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.Duties Inspect product and assure that it meets customer quality specifications Collect and grade samples periodically at coolers and occasionally at various cooler locations Conduct regular inspections on packaging and materials and ensure accurate information is being printed on labels Ensure that correct material labels are used with the corresponding product Record and track findings and communicate with management on out-of-grade products Weigh and count material to ensure weight specifications are met Separate product based on customer preference and quality issues Data entry and other administrative tasks as assigned Experience Proven experience in QA/QC roles within a produce environment is preferred Fluent English Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word) Knowledge of FDA regulations and HACCP standards is highly desirable.Strong analytical skills with attention to detail to identify defects or non-conformance in products Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members across departments Proficient in using mobile applications and workplace technology (e.g., smartphones, tablets, or related tools) to perform job duties Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Travel Requirements:Reliable vehicle required for travel between Dover, Parrish, and Winter Haven Florida Physical Demands and Work Environment:Ability to lift up to 30 pounds Approximately 80% of work will be done in an agriculture/field environment Job Types:Full-time, Temporary Pay:$19.00 - $21.00 per hour Expected hours:35 - 50 per week Benefits:Dental insurance Health insurance Vision insurance Work Location:In person.
