Unison Systems is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to join our client's team in Irvine, CA. This is a full-time, on-site position running from August 2026 through 2031. The salary range is $160,000 to $182,000 annually. You will be working in a construction environment on a long-term project involving complex infrastructure development. Responsibilities: Lead and implement the Owner's QA program for the project, including daily field inspections, specialty inspections, and materials testing coordination Manage QA staffing needs, including shift scheduling and rotations based on the construction schedule Oversee all QA reporting and documentation in Procore, including daily inspection reports and lab results Coordinate with laboratories, surveying teams, and other QA vendors to ensure timely and quality delivery Identify and resolve issues with vendor performance proactively Manage the resolution of all non-conforming work (NCNs) in collaboration with the Contractor, Designer, and Owner Maintain the NCN log and track all quality issues through resolution Facilitate pre-activity quality meetings with contractor and QA staff before starting new work activities Attend all pertinent construction and project meetings as the primary point of contact for project quality status Serve as the quality point person for the client on a high-profile project Requirements: 15+ years of experience in construction quality assurance Experience with dams, foundation grouting, earthwork, materials processing, zoned embankments, jack & bore, structural concrete, M/E/I equipment, steel pipelines, or water treatment plants California public works project experience Strong leadership and team management abilities Excellent communication skills and ability to work with diverse teams Knowledge of safety requirements and regulatory agencies Proactive, accountability-focused approach with strong problem-solving skills Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore Unison Systems is Colorado's leading IT staffing and engineering consulting firm - apply today and let us put our 27 years of expertise to work for you.
