Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to join our manufacturing team.The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that products meet strict quality standards and comply with industry regulations.This role involves implementing quality systems, conducting audits, inspecting bus seats and seat belts, and any other defects that do not comply with regulations. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive quality inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers , micrometers , and vision inspection systems to verify product specifications. Maintain detailed data collection records for quality metrics and process improvements. Collaborate with production teams to identify root causes of quality issues and develop corrective actions aligned with quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) practices. Lead or participate in internal and external quality audits to ensure ongoing compliance with industry standards. Support continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing data trends, process performance, and inspection results to enhance overall product quality. Skills Familiarity with measurement tools like the coordinate measuring machine (CMM) , micrometers , and other high-precision instruments. Inventory Scanning Ability to perform thorough quality inspections and conduct detailed analysis using various measurement techniques. Excellent analytical skills for data collection, interpretation, and reporting of quality metrics. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and regulatory compliance requirements related to medical devices or similar industries. Effective communication skills for documenting findings, preparing reports, and collaborating across departments.This role is integral to maintaining our commitment to delivering high-quality products that meet all regulatory requirements while fostering a culture of continuous improvement within our manufacturing environment.Job Types:Full-time, Temp-to-hire Pay:$15.00 per hour Expected hours:40 per week Benefits: Dental insurance Employee assistance program Health insurance Life insurance Referral program Vision insurance Work Location:In person.
