Quality Control (Compliance and Practices ) - Accounting (20002) Position Summary:The Quality Control Specialist - Reporting is responsible for ensuring that all internal and client-facing reports are completed accurately, consistently, and on schedule each month.This role serves as the final checkpoint before reports are distributed, verifying data integrity, completeness, formatting standards, and adherence to company procedures.This position does not generate primary data but ensures accuracy, compliance, and quality of deliverables across departments.Key Responsibilities:Monthly Reporting Oversight Monitor reporting calendars to ensure all internal and client reports are completed on schedule.Track deadlines and follow up with responsible team members as needed.Maintain a master reporting checklist for all required deliverables.Quality Review & Accuracy Verification Review reports for accuracy, consistency, formatting, and completeness prior to distribution.Cross-check data against source systems or supporting documentation.Identify discrepancies, errors, or missing information and coordinate corrections.Ensure reports meet established internal standards and client expectations.Process Control & Documentation Develop and maintain standardized reporting procedures and quality control checklists.Recommend improvements to reporting workflows to reduce errors and increase efficiency.Maintain documentation of corrections and recurring issues for process improvement.Compliance & Accountability Ensure client deliverables align with contractual reporting obligations.Escalate recurring errors or compliance concerns to leadership.Maintain audit-ready documentation of reporting processes and approvals.Qualifications 3years of experience in quality control, reporting, accounting, operations, or compliance.Strong analytical and detail-oriented mindset.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data validation, cross-referencing, reconciliation).Ability to interpret financial or operational reports.Strong organizational and deadline management skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.High level of accountability and professional discretion.Preferred Experience reviewing financial, tax, or compliance reports.Experience in a CPA firm, consulting firm, or financial services environment.Familiarity with reporting software or ERP systems.Experience building checklists, SOPs, or internal controls.Benefits & Perks We offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support our employees' health, financial security, and work-life balance, which may include:Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance with employer contributions Paid Time Off (PTO) including vacation, sick leave, and company holidays Paid Family and Medical Leave in accordance with federal, state, and local laws Benefits eligibility and offerings may vary based on position, location, employment status, and length of service.The Company reserves the right to modify or terminate benefits at any time, subject to applicable law.At-Will Employment:Employment with the Company is at will.This means that either the employee or the Company may terminate the employment relationship at any time, with or without cause or notice, subject to applicable law.Nothing in this job description creates a contract of employment or guarantees continued employment.Job Description Disclaimer:This job description is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed and is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties, responsibilities, or qualifications.The Company reserves the right to modify, add, or remove duties as business needs require.Background Check:Any offer of employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check conducted in compliance with the California Fair Chance Act and all other applicable laws.Criminal history will not be considered until after a conditional offer of employment has been made.Work Authorization:Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.Verification of employment eligibility will be conducted in accordance with applicable law.Job Type:Full-time Pay:$32.00 - $45.00 per hour Benefits:401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Schedule:Monday to Friday Ability to Commute:El Segundo, CA 90245 (Required) Work Location:In person.
