ONLY APPLICANTS WHO ADHERE TO THESE INSTRUCTIONS WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE.We are seeking a highly detailed and disciplined Quality Control Auditor/Operations Quality Control Specialist to audit every work order from start to finish.This role ensures strict adherence to company protocols and procedures, documents missed steps, and prepares accountability reports impacting payroll.This position is ideal for someone who thrives on precision, consistency, and operational excellence.Position does not provide paid time off, benefits, or holiday pay.THIS IS NOT A REMOTE POSITION.Position Summary:The Quality Control Auditor/Operations Quality Control Specialist is a full-time, detail-oriented position responsible for reviewing every work order from start to finish (A-Z) to ensure that all company protocols, policies, and established procedures are followed by every staff member involved.This role acts as the final accountability checkpoint before payroll processing.The Quality Control Auditor/Operations Quality Control Specialist will identify missed steps, protocol violations, or incomplete work, and will generate detailed reports outlining deficiencies and the corresponding time or pay deductions for responsible parties.This position requires extreme attention to detail, full mastery of company policies, and the ability to remain objective, consistent, and fair while enforcing standards.Employment Type Full-Time Hourly:$20/hr - $22/hr based on experience Reports directly to:COO and CEO Performance Metrics (KPIs).This role will be evaluated based on:Accuracy and completeness of work order audits Consistency in protocol enforcement Timeliness of reports submitted Reduction in repeat protocol violations over time Quality and clarity of documentation Management confidence in QC findings Core Responsibilities1.Work Order Review & Auditing Review 100% of completed work orders from initiation to close-out Verify that each stage of the work order was completed exactly according to protocol Ensure all required documentation, checklists, timestamps, photos, signatures, and approvals are present Confirm accuracy of reported labor time, materials used, and service completion 2.Protocol & Policy Enforcement Maintain full working knowledge of all company policies, SOPs, and operational procedures Ensure every staff member involved in a work order followed their assigned responsibilities Identify deviations, omissions, shortcuts, or non-compliance Apply standards consistently with zero favoritism or bias 3.Reporting & Documentation Create a Quality Control Report for each audited work order, including:Work order number and date Staff members involved Protocol(s) missed or violated Clear explanation of what was missed Assigned responsibility Recommended time or pay deduction per company policy Maintain organized digital and/or physical records of all QC reports Submit weekly summaries to management prior to payroll processing 4.Payroll Impact & Accountability Calculate time or pay deductions based on:Missed steps Incomplete documentation Failure to follow procedure Rework or corrective action required Ensure deductions are accurate, documented, and policy-compliant Coordinate with payroll or management to ensure proper implementation 5.Continuous Improvement & Feedback Identify recurring issues or patterns of non-compliance Provide recommendations to management for:Process improvements Training needs Policy clarifications Disciplinary actions Assist in updating SOPs to eliminate ambiguity or inefficiencies Required Skills & QualificationsExceptional attention to detailStrong analytical and auditing skillsAbility to read, interpret, and enforce written policiesHigh level of organization and documentation accuracyStrong written communication skillsAbility to remain impartial and professional in enforcementComfortable handling accountability and corrective actions PreferredPrior experience in quality control, compliance, auditing, or operations managementExperience reviewing work orders, job tickets, or operational workflowsFamiliarity with payroll processes or labor trackingStrong problem-solving and process-improvement mindset Personal Attributes RequiredMeticulous and methodicalExtremely detail-orientedConsistent and disciplinedEthical and fairSelf-motivated and independentAble to handle sensitive information confidentially.
