Duties & Responsibilities Perform detailed quality inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products using established procedures and specifications. Utilize a variety of precision measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, gauges, and optical comparators, for accurate dimensional measurement. Document inspection results thoroughly, maintaining accurate records, and generating comprehensive quality reports. Identify and document non-conforming materials or products, initiating corrective action requests and collaborating with production teams to resolve issues. Conduct first article inspections (FAI) and in-process checks to ensure compliance with engineering drawings and quality standards. Assist in the calibration and maintenance of inspection equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability. Participate in root cause analysis for quality defects and contribute to the implementation of preventive and corrective actions. Apply Statistical Process Control (SPC) techniques to monitor and improve product quality and process stability. Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to uphold quality standards throughout the product lifecycle. Contribute to the continuous improvement of quality processes and procedures, identifying areas for efficiency and effectiveness enhancements. Competitive Salary Range: $58,000 - $82,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
