Responsibilities Supports quality and production efforts by collecting data and using basic statistical and metrology methods to monitor and improve manufacturing processes. Assists with product quality issues, corrective and preventive actions, and applies quality tools for data tracking and reporting 30% Develop an understanding of Testing Methodology to apply to Product Specifications, utilizing testing results to evaluate production processes and support process improvements. 20% Ensure the creation of comprehensive work instructions by demonstrating technical writing skills, including the ability to create work instructions, labor estimates, reports, and proposals. Maintain accurate quality documentation and calibration records. 20% Assist with root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions, and process audits. Interpret testing data against product specifications to assess process performance and recommend improvement. 25% May assist in training and communicating quality expectations to production teams. 5% KSAs (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) Knowledge and ability to develop and administer management information systems Ability to use metrology and statistical methods to diagnose and correct improper quality control practices Ability to understand human factors and motivation Possess analytical skills, computer skills, and be able to problem solve Knowledge and familiarity with industry specifications/codes/standards/ quality tools. Minimum Qualifications H.S.
