Overview Quality Improvement Information SpecialistHarrisburg, PA 171201st Shift - 08:00 a.m. 4:00 p.m.Duration:1 Year with possible extensions/Long term Position Title:Quality Improvement Information Specialist Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.Significant experience managing, inputting, and manipulating information using information systems and data management software.Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).Position Description The Quality Improvement Information Specialist serves as a full-time, on-site liaison between the contractor and the department's staff.The role supports the development, implementation, and maintenance of various information systems as part of the contractor's Clinical Information System development and support team.Key Responsibilities Act as the primary liaison between the contractor and the department's staff regarding clinical information systems.Support the development and implementation of information systems related to the Clinical Information System.Perform ongoing technical maintenance of the Bureau's Quality Management Program, including system implementation and updates.Coordinate and oversee data entry into multiple information systems to ensure accuracy and consistency.Analyze information and generate reports from information systems to support the Quality Management Program.Collaborate with the contractor's Clinical Information System development and support team to improve system functionality and data quality.Maintain and enhance professional knowledge and technical skills by attending meetings, training sessions, seminars, and reviewing current industry literature.We are an equal opportunity employer.It is our policy to provide employment, compensation, and other benefits related to employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, gender, national or ethnic origin, disability, veteran status, age, genetic information, citizenship, or any other basis prohibited by applicable federal, state, or local law.
