JOB DESCRIPTION Job Title Quality Inspector - Aerospace Status Hourly Department Quality Job Summary We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Aerospace Quality Inspector to play a vital role in maintaining the quality and integrity of our aerospace products.The Quality Inspector will be responsible for conducting inspections, tests, and assessments, ensuring that our aerospace components meet the stringent quality standards.Essential Functions First Piece Inspection Final Inspection Receiving QC Inspection In-Process Inspection First Article Inspection in accordance with AS9102 Ability to operate manual CMM equipment ( Faro Arm ) Create NCRs when discrepancies are detected Use inspection tools and gages such as calipers, micrometers, profilometers, height gages Qualifications High school diploma or GED required 5 year of inspection experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment Knowledge of FAIR per AS9102 Excellent leadership and organizational skills Shop math and blueprint reading GD&T Job Type:Full-time Pay:$41,600.00 - $62,400.00 per year Benefits:401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Retirement plan Vision insurance Education:High school or equivalent (Preferred) Experience:CMM Equipment ( Faro Arm ):3 years (Preferred) AS9102 Knowledge FAIR:3 years (Preferred) Dimensional inspection:5 years (Preferred) Quality inspection:5 years (Preferred) Language:Bilingual English Spanish (Preferred) Work Location:In person.
