Job Description
Job Title: Quality Management Coordinator Location: New York, NY Schedule: 37.5 Hours/Week | 7.5 Hours/Day | 5 Days/Week Compensation: Pay Rate: $34.00 – $38.00/hour – based on experience Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Management Coordinator to support Quality Management, Risk Management, and Nursing Behavioral Health departments within a healthcare setting. This role is responsible for conducting audits, reviewing clinical documentation, preparing reports, monitoring compliance standards, and supporting patient safety initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, healthcare quality experience, and familiarity with behavioral health operations and EMR systems. Responsibilities: Prepare and summarize monthly audit reports for nursing and behavioral health units Conduct audits and monitor compliance related to: Mock Codes Nursing Assignments Hand Hygiene 1:1 Observation Q15 Checks Close Observation Constant Observation Patient Identifiers Review and document findings involving: Full Body Restraints Handcuffs and Shackles 2-Point Restraints Analyze clinical and operational documentation for accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance Prepare detailed monthly reports for Quality Management, Risk Management, and Nursing Behavioral Health leadership teams Collaborate with clinical staff and department leadership to identify trends, compliance gaps, and process improvement opportunities Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational policies Utilize EPIC EMR systems for documentation review, auditing, and reporting activities Support patient safety and quality improvement initiatives across departments Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree required Master’s Degree preferred Minimum 3 years of experience in healthcare quality management, auditing, nursing administration, or behavioral health operations required EPIC EMR experience required Strong analytical, organizational, and reporting skills required Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced healthcare environment Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in Behavioral Health or Hospital Quality Management preferred Knowledge of patient safety standards, restraint documentation requirements, and compliance auditing preferred Experience supporting Risk Management and regulatory reporting processes preferred For more details reach at vgill@navitassols.com or Call / Text at 516-862-1203.
