Summary:For nearly 50 years, the Black Tip family of companies have been providing quality components in our fluid handling and cable management divisions; serving industrial, agricultural, telecommunication and cable industries.With in-house plastic injection molding and technical expertise, we relentlessly focus on connecting customers to the right solution for their unique application.Our commitment to quality, continuous improvement and partnership drives purposeful growth for our employees, our customers, our business and our community.Job Description:Black Tip is seeking a proactive and hands-on Quality Manager to lead and manage all quality assurance and quality control activities across two divisions of the business.The Quality Manager will oversee the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of quality systems to ensure products meet or exceed customer requirements and internal standards.This role will play a key role in maintaining ISO 9001:2015 certification and fostering a culture of quality throughout both organizations.Key Responsibilities:Provide leadership, direction, and support to the quality teams at both facilities.Develop, implement, and maintain a company-wide Quality Management System (QMS) that aligns with ISO 9001:2015.Partner with operations leadership to ensure quality is integrated into every stage of production and assembly.Establish and monitor quality objectives, KPIs, and metrics across both divisions.Ensure compliance with customer specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action initiatives (CAPA) to resolve customer issues and drive improvement.Drive initiatives to improve product quality, reduce scrap/rework, and increase customer satisfaction.Develop and deliver training programs to promote quality awareness throughout the organization.Lead layered process audits, internal audits, and management reviews.Oversee calibration, measurement systems, and inspection processes.Ensure robust documentation and recordkeeping in compliance with ISO and customer requirements.Standardize inspection procedures, sampling plans, and quality alerts across both facilities.Foster teamwork, positive communication, and cooperation across departments.Education / Experience:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.ISO 9001:2015 certification and hands-on experience leading audits and maintaining certification required.5years of progressive quality leadership experience in manufacturing, preferably injection molding or plastics.Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies (SPC, PPAP, FMEA, 8D, etc.).Demonstrated track record of driving continuous improvement and building scalable quality systems.Benefits:401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location:In person.
