Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Manage and supervise the Quality department and Quality programs. This also includes performance management and hiring of the employees within the department. Oversee internal & supplier auditing and work to improve quality of outgoing product Work to improve communication of customer requirements, resolve customer concerns, and promote quality throughout organization. Maintain a quality program conforming to ISO 9001:2015 and NQA-1:2008/9a. Work to implement harmonized procedures from our Corporate Quality team into the Quality Management System. Establish and maintain relationships with registrar & auditors required to obtain and maintain certifications. Manage customer driven audits to maximize customer satisfaction and ensure compliance to all customer requirements. Oversee the corrective action process and ensure that identified issues are successfully resolved in an appropriate timeframe. Work closely to improve/maintain quality of raw materials & products, and ensure that nonconforming product is dispositioned in a timely manner. Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and contractors to ensure the group receives quality products and can expediently resolve quality issues. Train & promote quality throughout the organization and lead quality improvement projects Ensure certificates of conformance are submitted to customers in a timely fashion. Ensure all measurement and test equipment utilized by the organization is appropriately calibrated. Stay informed on changes in quality-related technology in the industry which can be employed to improve quality operations Complete special projects and other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field required. 5+ years of progressive Quality Management experience in a manufacturing related environment. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, demonstrating understanding in production operational processes Hands-on ERP/MRP experience (e.g. MACPAC, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics). Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including but not limited to Excel, Word, Power Point, & Outlook.
