Job Summary and Qualifications The Behavior Health Quality Manager(BHQ Mgr.) at Research Psychiatric Center ensures high quality, patient-centered care by facilitating the daily operations of the Quality Management/Patient Safety Program(s)and Performance Improvement programs at Research Psychiatric Center. This role will manage all aspects of quality and risk with supervision and collaboration with the Research Medical Center ( RMC) Quality Team and Research Psychiatric Center(RPC) Senior Leadership Team. The BHQ Mgr. is accountable to facilitate performance improvement activities including actions taken to drive improvement and the results of those actions. The BHQ Mgr is responsible for maintaining Joint Commission Standards and CMS conditions of participation in collaboration with RMC VP of Quality and RPC Senior Leadership team. This role collaborates with the RMC VP of Quality and RPC leadership to develop, revise, and implement programs, initiatives, and improvement strategies, in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and other governmental requirements. The BHQ Mgr. provides leadership with data analysis, incident response, and staff education to advance patient safety and control and minimize risks at the facility. What qualifications you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or health-related field – Required Master’s Degree in Nursing or health-related field – Preferred 3+ years clinical experience in a healthcare setting – Required 2+ years experience in healthcare quality/risk management – Preferred Currently licensed as a registered nurse or health professional in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation. – Preferred Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) – Required – Grace Period - 3 years (Or CHCQM) Certification in Healthcare Quality Management (CHCQM) – Required – Grace Period – 3 years (OR CPHQ) Healthcare Accreditation Certification Program (HACP) – Preferred CPI Certification – Required within 90 days Research Medical Center is a 585+ bed hospital.
