Genevieve Cement MO Job Req ID: 16263 Join Our Amazing Team And Contribute As a Quarry Technician About The Role The Quarry Technician position is a multi-skilled position responsible for the mining operation. What You'll Accomplish Operation of mobile equipment required to mine rock (For example: Rock drills, wheel loaders, bulldozer, haul trucks and water trucks, motor grader, fuel tanker, hydraulic rock breaker) Perform mechanical maintenance check-outs, troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns and do minor preventative maintenance on mobile equipment Monitor and react to quality issues (For example: sample drill holes, monitor quality feedback information & adjust mining pattern as necessary) Maintain documentation, plan and organize work, participate in various team activities Other duties as assigned Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. What We're Looking For Required Work Experience: 1 year of a heavy equipment operating in a manufacturing environment Additional Requirements Required to work outside, at heights, warm temperatures, and at times around and over water, in dusty environments and confined spaces. Must operate on a two shift basis and incumbents will predominantly work these two shifts, weekends are required. Ability to work in a team based environment. Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
