Job Title: Quilt Shop Sales Associate (Saturdays Required) Location: Pieces of Love Quilt Shop – Oroville, CA Hours: Part-time, must be available Saturdays Job Summary: We’re on the hunt for a friendly, fabric-loving team member who’s ready to jump in and help customers create their next masterpiece. If you can read a quilt pattern without getting cross-eyed, enjoy picking out the perfect combo of prints and solids, and aren’t afraid to do a little math, we want you on our team! What You’ll Be Doing: Helping customers choose fabric and figure yardage for their projects Answering questions about patterns, notions, and techniques Ringing up sales and keeping the shop tidy Restocking fabric and keeping displays looking sharp Being a warm, welcoming presence for all our customers—especially those new to quilting What We’re Looking For: Quilting experience is a must (You don’t have to be a pro, but you need to speak ¼” seam language) Comfortable reading and explaining quilt patterns Confident helping customers calculate fabric needs (with or without a calculator) Friendly and helpful attitude—we’re a cheerleader-type shop! Saturday availability is non-negotiable Basic math and cash register skills Bonus points if you’ve worked in a quilt shop or fabric store before If helping quilters find their perfect fabric match sounds like your kind of fun, come join us!
