Mercyhealth System in Rockford, Illinois, is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Radiation Oncologist to join and lead our expanding Oncology program. This is a unique opportunity to build and grow Radiation Oncology within a fully integrated regional health system serving Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin. Opportunity Compensation: $640,000-$720,000 Join a collaborative, multidisciplinary Oncology team within a strong, established referral network. Work alongside Gynecologic and Medical Oncologists Supported by Advanced Practice Providers, Oncology Nursing, Social Work, and dedicated program leadership (Manager and Director) Outstanding internal referral system from primary care EPIC EMR Opportunity to grow patient volume and lead service line development Fully integrated system support with operational and strategic leadership Departmental Scope Comprehensive cancer program with strong system-wide referrals Multidisciplinary collaboration across specialties Dedicated administrative and operational leadership Opportunity to guide program expansion and strategic growth Qualifications MD/DO - Board Certified/Board Eligible in Radiation Oncology Fellowship trained in Radiation Oncology Strong interpersonal and leadership skills Team-oriented mindset with interest in program development Desire to increase patient caseload and strengthen service line presence Compensation & Benefits: Mercyhealth offers a highly competitive compensation structure designed to provide stability, growth opportunities, and long-term career success.
